Birthing in - Birthing Within - Birthing Out: The 9 Stages of (Hu)Man

Erik Erickson, PhD, wrote about the 8 stages of human development in his book, Childhood and Society, which cover the life span from birth to [and sometimes through] retirement age. In her many years of work with seniors and the very elderly, Dr Garland has found a recurring and consistent pattern of dynamics that constitute a 9th stage of development. In this presentation the dynamics of this 9th Stage will be presented, as well as pre & perinatal dynamics, how they weave through a person’s life stages, and become an integral part of the 9th Stage for BIRTHING OUT.
