APPPAH is an active, growing community of people bringing a new psychology of consciousness to pregnancy and birth. Our mission is to educate the world--especially parents, birth caregivers, and public servants--about the life-changing discoveries of prenatal and perinatal psychology. We work toward an era of birth when these discoveries are understood and fully embraced in practice. APPPAH focuses on the earliest period of human development, from pre-conception to birth, breastfeeding, and attachment when we believe the foundations for personal health, social well-being, and peace in the world are established. APPPAH meetings and publications help to bring this community together. We offer resources to stir public awareness, point to opportunities for learning and training, and encourage members to present and publish their pioneering work.
