Birth Psychology 2013 Congress APPPAH’S 18TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS

BIRTH PSYCHOLOGY in ACTION: TRANSFORMATION through the CREATIVE & HEALING ARTS

November 14-17, 2013 Asilomar Conference Grounds, Pacific Grove, CA

Deadline for Proposal Submission: Friday, February 22, 2013, 11:59 PM Pacific Time.


We invite professionals working in the field of prenatal and perinatal psychology and related disciplines to present their research and expertise. A peer review committee will review your proposal. The peer review process will be a double-blind process.We will select presenters based on the appropriateness of the proposal to the Congress theme and APPPAH’s overall mission. If you have presented at an APPPAH Congress in the last year, we ask that you wait to submit again for next year’s event. Please state whether you wish to give a 90” or 3 hour long presentation, or if this is flexible. If you would like to give a poster presentation state that clearly. Please submit your proposals to Congress Chair, Ellynne Skove, at conference@birthpsychology.com as an e-mail attachment in word.doc format. You will receive confirmation of receipt of your proposal within one week from the time it is received. Your proposal should consist of the following: Title of proposed session: Type of session:
  • 90” lecture/demo/experiential (circle all that apply)
  • 3-hour intensive seminar
  • Poster Session (table top poster sessions with presenters available during breaks between Keynote speakers and presentations on Friday and Saturday)
  • Equipment needed:
  • LCD Projector, Audio, White Board, sound system, etc. (note: presenters to furnish laptop computer)
  • Room size and set up:
  • Chairs in a circle, chairs in rows, no chairs, # of tables and size
  • Brief Description (80-150 words) Brief Bio of Presenter(s) (50-100 words)
