This presentation will explore the latest research in brain architecture with particular emphasis on optogenetics. We shall review current studies on the neurological differences between male and female brains with implications for early attachment, personality and behavior. Up-to- date views on attachment and bonding especially, the role of oxytocin, will be considered. Finally, we shall learn how the human microbiome is affected by mode of birth and its continuing influence on our mood and cognition.
