Monday LIVE: Exploring Birth Psychology- Somatic Exercises to Support Babies and Soothe Adults, Prenatally and After with Judyth Weaver
May 10, 2021 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Somatic Exercises to Support Babies and Soothe Adults – Prenatally and After
This presentation will be mostly experiential. The intention is to enhance the experience of the adult with sensory/somatic/proprioceptive explorations and to assist him/her to get closer to and understand what the infant’s experience could be, therefore being able to support more fully the child’s need for clear and safe experiences of sound, rhythm, movement, breath, touch, relationship, etc. — both in utero and after birth as the child enters and takes his/her place in the world that we live in.
We will focus on how we can share the awareness of these experiences and help others learn more about how to support safety and security in utero and continue into childhood. We can lay the ground for this by helping adults learn and experience what there is for us to feel, and how to interpret, share it, and pass it on.
