Alexandra R. Johnson, MD is a Family Medicine Physician and Certified Breema Practitioner and Instructor. She has been teaching Breema internationally since 2003. She practices full spectrum family medicine with obstetrics, and has worked in resident education at the University of Colorado and University of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and in community clinics with immigrant and refugee populations. She believes in the importance of dialogue in all aspects of health, and was recently featured in the film “Why Not Home?” The Surprising Birth Choices of Doctors and Nurses,” discussing the importance of communication to improve birth outcomes and reduce trauma.
