Professor Luisella Magnani teaches linguistics and aesthetics at the University Institute in Sciences of Linguistic Mediation of Varese (Italy). She is a researcher of aesthetics at the Catholic University of Milan. Her affiliation is with the University of Studies of Insubria of Varese. She is focusing on prenatal pain in babies within the field of non-pharmacological care. Her research discipline is epigenetics. In May 2016, she received the Advocacy for Italy for Paediatric Palliative Care from the International Children’s Palliative Care Network, ICPCN. She is an individual member of the European Association for Palliative Care, EAPC, the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPPPAH), and the National Association for Prenatal Psychology and Education, as well as an associate member of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology, SIOP.
