Kelduyn [pronounced KEL due win] is one of the 'GrandMothers' of APPPAH . . . having joined the organization shortly after its inception in the early / mid '80's .
She has been very active in the organization throughout these years, presenting on her work and findings at many of the Congresses, as well as serving on the Editorial Board of the Journal [[Journal of Pre & Perinatal Psychology], which APPPAH publishes quarterly, since 1987 and also serving on the Board's Ethic's Committee .
In 1997 she instituted the Continuing Education program for APPPAH Congresses, and developed & coordinated it for many years, laying the groundwork for and pursuing getting physician support for providing CME’s for MD’s and DO’s [as well as coverage for Midwives and Nurses] through ACOG - which came to fruition in 2005.
In 2014 she was asked back to coordinate the CE program again, and is working to expand this service to encompass a wider scope of providing CME credits for medical professionals, and CE Credits for Mental/Behavioral Health, Substance Abuse, and Massage Therapists & Bodywork professionals throughout the US and the world for all of APPPAH's educational programs, which will be instituted in 2015..
Prior to her retirement, Kelduyn worked nationally and internationally for almost five  decades in pre & perinatal psychology [early infancy & childhood BondingAttachment, and family development], co-dependency / gender scripting, and Loss & grief / major life transitions. Forty  of these years were spent in private practice as a BodyMind therapist, consultant and educator, specializing in Bonding from the Beginning, Reproductive & BondingAttachment dynamics, trauma, and loss & grief issues, . . . assisting people with birthing in, birthing within themselves, and birthing out. She continues to provide these services to people, groups and organizations on a limited basis.
During her career Kelduyn taught nationally and internationally in colleges and universities as guest faculty, and presented at congresses / conferences / medical symposiums on these matters, as well as published numerous articles on newborn development in professional journals and newsletters and is one of the initial co-authors of the top selling neonatal medical textbook, HANDBOOK OF NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE.
