This article provides a comprehensive overview of current interventions and future perspectives in addressing NAS. Drawing on recent national data, the review highlights the urgent need for responsive care and effective treatment strategies. Current interventions include pharmacological treatments, non-pharmacological approaches, and supportive care measures. The article also discusses the challenges in managing NAS, such as underreporting and undertreatment of opioid use in pregnancy. Future perspectives emphasize the importance of early identification, prevention strategies, and the development of innovative treatment protocols to improve outcomes for affected infants.
