Week 1 – Prenatal Memory: a Message from the Children – Panel Discussion

Prenatal Memory: a Message from the Children

Panel Members will include:

Akira Ikegawa, MD

Dr. Ikegawa is an OB-GYN doctor, author, and lecturer who has an extensive background in the research of the concept of Prenatal Memory. He distributed about 3,600 questionnaires consisting of 85 questions in 2002 and 2003 and continue to interview people with Prenatal Memory. He guides how to communicate with babies in the womb for pregnant mothers at his clinic, and delivers lectures nationally and internationally about the extraordinary stories that he discovered from the research of Prenatal Memory. There are videos with English subtitles are available on the Prenatal Memory YouTube channel.



Yuko Igarashi, PPNE

Yuko graduated from The Evergreen State College with a BA in Consciousness Studies and a certified Prenatal and Perinatal Educator. She launched the Prenatal Memory Global Project in 2018 with Dr. Ikegawa and Dr. Masayuki Ohkado at the Society for Mind-Body Science 28th Annual Conference. She organized and coordinated joint group presentations from Japan and China for the 2019 APPPAH International Congress and also served as an interviewer for the film “Prenatal Memory”.



Norio Ogikubo, Producer

Norio Ogikubo is a Filmmaker and the owner of Kumanekodo Co. Ltd. he accompanied the Prenatal Memory Global Project team from Japan to cover the APPPAH’s International Congress. He is an instructor for the Movie Class at the Tokyo International Stanislavsky Academy. He has more than 30 years of experience as a recording, lighting, and photography engineer for theatrical films and documentary programs.




Thomas R. Verny, MD

Dr. Verny is a clinical psychiatrist, academic, and author of eight of books and 47 scientific papers, including The Secret Life of the Unborn Child, which was published in 27 countries and recently published The Embodied Mind. He has participated in more than 250 newspaper, radio and TV interviews, including appearances with Donahue, Merv Griffin, Oprah, Sally Jessy Raphael, Barbara Walters, and Unsolved Mysteries—these interviews are available at trvernymd.com. He has taught at Harvard University, University of Toronto, York University (Toronto), and St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Dr. Verny is the founder of APPPAH. He lives with his wife in Ontario, Canada.
