Prenatal and Perinatal - Practitioners

Each PPN Practitioner (PPN-P) listed in our directory has completed a significant training specifically related to Prenatal and Perinatal trauma resolution. They use trauma informed protocols in facilitating an experience where you become more connected to who you truly are.

Prenatal and Perinatal - Educators

Each of our PPN Educators - (PPN-E) have graduated from the year-long APPPAH Certification process. (Learn more in our APPPAH Learning Center). This training provides a unique experience to explore our own early birth imprints and teach this work from an embodied knowing. Our educators are available to give presentations to any organizations around the world.

APPPAH's Prenatal and Perinatal Practitioner and Educator Directory

The Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Helath (APPPAH) is neither a regulatory nor licensing organization and therefore not sanctioned to certify, license, or otherwise bestow the legal authorization to practice as a mental health professional.  Each PPN practitioner is responsible for working under their own independent professional license and within their scope of practice.

Ellynne Skove


Ellynne Skove, is a New York state licensed Creative Arts therapist, nationally certified counselor, Board Certified dance therapist,yoga teacher, and Polarity therapist. In 2010 Ellynne completed additional graduate studies in Pre and Peri Natal Psychology at The Santa Barbara Graduate Institute. Additionally she is a PPNE and mentor.


Christina Peterson


Christina Peterson is a Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist, HypnoBirthing Practitioner and Prenatal and Perinatal Educator. I educate and support couples, mothers to create a calm and positive conception, pregnancy and birth. Counselling/ Clinical Hypnotherapy for fertility, anxiety, fears, birth trauma and any issues. Group classes in “Empower yourself during Pregnancy Relaxation and Bonding Classes” and “HypnoBirthing Classes”.


Nina Ketscher, MA, PPNE, CEIM


Nina works as an integrative therapist blending Western somatic, prenatal and perinatal, and energy psychology with Eastern spiritual healing knowledge and has a degree from Santa Barbara Graduate Institute (SBGI). Former APPPAH Vice President, Director of Education and Programs, Nina is a graduate of, and mentor for, APPPAH Prenatal & Perinatal Educator certification program (PPNE).

Florentine Peralta, MA, PPNE


Florentine is an APPPAH/PPNE mentor, and holistic counselor, healer and teacher for families. In her work, she is integrating Eastern Spiritual Wisdom with Western Psychology. Her highest aim is to support and empower mothers during all stages, including pregnancy. She helps them to heal their own early wounds so they can create the strongest possible foundation for their children. To her, strong mother-child bonds and healthy families are essential to transforming the world.
